Is the vehicle check free?
Yes. MOT history, mileage, tax status and the AI readiness report are free. Optional premium checks (history, valuation, specification) are paid per report.
Is it safe to pay for a premium check?
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe over an encrypted (TLS) connection. Stripe is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest industry standard, and your card details are entered on Stripe's secure page, never on ours. Your bank may also ask you to approve the payment with 3D Secure.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes. A PDF invoice is emailed to the address you give at checkout as soon as your payment is confirmed.
What does the check show?
Make, model, colour, fuel, engine size, tax and MOT status, CO₂ emissions, every MOT result with advisories, mileage history and a ULEZ indication.
Does it show if a car is stolen or has finance?
Not in the free check. Our paid History check covers stolen, outstanding finance and insurance write-off records.
